Prince George's most wanted list released

The Prince George RCMP has made a list of its current "most wanted" persons.

Both of these people were selected from a list of suspects who currently have arrest warrants as a result of Prince George RCMP investigations.

The Prince George RCMP members actively search out people with arrest warrants who pose a risk to the general public. In most cases, the suspects are located swiftly and without incident. Although all of the people on this top 2 list should be considered violent, only one is wanted on allegations of a violent crime.

Top 2 most wanted

Brandy Lenay Potskin is wanted in B.C. for robbery, breach of undertaking, two counts of resisting arrest, four counts of failing to comply with a probation order, and three counts of theft under $5,000.

On Jan. 5, 2010, it is alleged that Potskin committed robbery at the Real Canadian Superstore in Prince George. Her other charges stem from multiple Prince George RCMP investigations.

Potskin is a 23-year-old First Nations female. She is 168 cm (5-foot-6) and weighs 64 kg (142 pounds), with black hair and brown eyes.

She will take action to avoid capture and, therefore, should not be approached.

Darrell Russell Ogden is wanted in B.C. for four counts of fraud under $5,000, two counts of theft under $5,000, breach of undertaking, and personation of a peace officer.

It is alleged Ogden stopped to help a female resident who was having car trouble. He advised the woman that he would be able to fix the vehicle for a set amount of money. The money was provided, but Ogden never fixed the vehicle.

A few more similar allegations have been reported to police. In order to gain the trust of some of his victims, Ogden allegedly told them he works for the RCMP.

Ogden is a 52-year-old non-white male, 168 cm (5-foot-6) and weighs 91 kg (200 pounds). He has black hair and brown eyes and at least three tattoos, including a dagger on his left forearm.

Ogden also has warrants out of Saskatchewan and Ontario. He is believed to frequent the Edmonton area.

Ogden should be considered dangerous and, therefore, should not be approached.

People who have any information about these wanted persons are asked to contact the Prince George RCMP at 250-561-3300, or call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
