Following are the board highlights from the May 6 Cariboo Regional District (CRD) meeting:
Airport access
Directors agreed to sign off on an access and use agreement with Daryl and Kathleen Anderson, based on a recommendation from the South Cariboo Airport Commission.
The agreement will allow a gated access to a commercial property with a helicopter landing pad adjacent to the South Cariboo Regional Airport (108 Mile Ranch). The access will facilitate the transfer of fixed-wing and rotor aircraft to and from the airport, to provide potential services and storage.
Name change
A joint letter of support will be issued for a proposal to change the name of the 93 Mile - Little Fort Highway (Highway 24) to the Fishing Highway.
