No parole for Buffalo Creek murderer

On July 8, the National Parole Board denied James Rocco Ruscitti's request for both day and full parole release. Board members said Ruscitti appeared to be emotionally disconnected from what he did, and they believed he would be an "undue risk if he were released."

On June 22, 1996, he entered his parents' home in Buffalo Creek, near 100 Mile House, with his friend Chad Bucknell and killed his adoptive parents, their boarder, and his brother's 17-year-old girlfriend in an execution-style murder.
