Brandon Bougie was appointed as the new career deputy fire chief for 100 Mile House Fire Rescue on June 17.
Bougie has served with the department as a paid on-call firefighter/captain for eight years.
“I'm honoured to be selected,” says Bougie.
“I've put a lot of time and effort into this department and I hope I can meet my new expectations for everyone in the community.
Bougie and his family have lived in 100 Mile House since 2006. He has been with Fire Rescue his entire firefighting career.
Fire chief Roger Hollander says he is extremely proud of Bougie and his accomplishments.
“Bougie's extensive fire service knowledge and experience will contribute to the highest level of service our department provides and that the community expects.”
