The South Cariboo Meat Co-op has postponed its public groundbreaking celebration for its new abattoir, due to lack of an available space for holding the planned social gathering afterwards.
The groundbreaking celebration had been planned for May 27 at its building site on Exeter-McKinley Road, but will be rescheduled for some time in June, with the date still to be announced.
