Vitalis in Kelowna is excited to welcome B.C. Lieutenant Governor Wendy Cocchia to help with the official opening of its new manufacturing facility on May 1.

The new facility at 3488 Velocity Avenue will double Vitalis' current manufacturing capacity for the production of commercial and industrial refrigeration systems that use a natural refrigerant with ultra-low global warming potential.

The facility is expected to open up 50 or more skilled jobs in the region.

Lt.-Gov. Cocchia and members of the consular corps will be present for the ribbon cutting scheduled for 12:30 p.m. with a tour to follow.
