ELECTION POLLING
According to a Forum poll released May 1, province wide the NDP has 37 per cent support, an eight point lead over the governing Liberals at 29 per cent, while the Green Party has 24 per cent support.
A quarter (25 per cent) of respondents say, regardless of their party affiliation, that John Horgan would make the best Premier of BC, which is a statistical tie with Christy Clark (24 per cent). Andrew Weaver (21 per cent) is third, just behind the pair. (16 per cent) say they don’t know, with (15 per cent) saying none of the above would make the best premier. The poll randomly sampled 1,067 B.C. voters.
PHONE NUMBER REVISION
In the April 20 edition of the simplymastery we reported the wrong phone number for NDP candidate for the Cariboo Chilcotin, Sally Watson. The correct number for her 100 Mile campaign office is 250-395-3187. Our apologies to Watson and her campaign.
