The District of 100 Mile House is currently working to repair a water main break impacting residents on Burghley Place and Burghley Crescent.
The water main break occurred sometime in the morning of Tuesday, Sept. 17. The district has shut off water for all residences on Burghley Place and Burghley Crescent as they work to repair the break. Local businesses including the Red Rock Grill are also impacted.
The district told the Free Press they are waiting for a wet vac truck to arrive from Kamloops so they can vacuum up the excess water and begin excavation to locate the break. They also confirmed the break is a small one and they hope to restore water to the impacted residences by the end of the day.
The district noted in a release they thank residents for their patience during this time.
