Funding from the Cariboo Regional District paid for a new stage and completes the South Cariboo Rec. Centre (SCRC) in 100 Mile House.
Mike McNeil of New Wave Docks and his crew designed and fabricated the stage and, now, the SCRC is a fully functional multi-use facility, says Canlan Ice Sports manager Josh Dickerson.
The Kick Off to Western Week on May 14 with the FA BFourever Beatles Tribute, South Cariboo Idol 2011 and the Most Fabulous Beatles Singer Contest winner will be the first to use the stage.
