Some sixty children, aged four to six, visited the South Cariboo Health Centre (SCHC) to receive their booster shots June 8-9.
"They were brave little troopers," says public health nurse Joy McFee.
"I was poking all day, and only had one little guy cry for about two seconds."
The children and their parents were invited to participate in a fair after their immunization shots.
The multi-purpose room at the health centre had various displays from different organizations, with the big attraction being the emergency vehicles, says McFee.
"The kids got to climb in the ambulances, police cars and fire trucks, and turn on the sirens. It was a fantastic turnout."
