Elementary and middle-school students from throughout the North Okanagan-Shuswap converged in Salmon Arm on Wednesday for the annual Little Mountain Stomp cross-country run.
The event saw upwards of 1,000 participating runners start on the Little Mountain Sports Fields, loop around the field to the neighbouring trail system, through a designated trail loop, and return to the field to cross the finish line, where they were awarded with applause from attending families and others.
