Following what police are calling a "suspicious occurrence" Friday (Feb. 28) at the Vanderhoof post office, the location has been closed to the public.
Vanderhoof Canada Post office located a number of suspicious packages containing a powder, according to an RCMP statement released Friday.
While the substance has not yet been identified, out of an abundance of caution, the post office was evacuated, police said.
At the time of publication, the investigation is ongoing and there are no further details available.
