RCMP find stolen tools when investigating gunshot injury at Nanaimo park

Tool found in city park during police investigation into gun shot injury

A recent search of an encampment in Bowen Park by Nanaimo RCMP officers led to the discovery of a number of allegedly stolen tools. 

The items were found April 25 when officers were called to the area after a report of a gunshot injury, an RCMP press release noted.

Police seized the items and are looking to reunite them the tools with their rightful owners. Anyone who owns the items or knows where they were taken from is asked to contact the Nanaimo RCMP detachment non-emergency line at 250-754-2345 and refer to file No. 2025-12511.
