The Princeton and District Museum and Archives Society held its annual general meeting last month.

On March 12, the museum held a meeting to appoint a new board of directors. Although the attendance of the meeting had fewer people than normal, the election was accomplished without issue.

Bob Long will take on the position of president, taking over for Marjorie Holland who served for three terms.

Stella Holliday will stay on as vice president, along with treasurer Henk Piket and secretary Ulrike Ruebsaat.

The remaining directors elected are Kimball Maynard, Maureen Parsley, Brett Paulson, Dawn Johnson, John Henry and Gordon Johnson. Johnson will continue to serve as museum liaison with the Upper Similkameen Indian Band, pending their approval, and George Elliot will continue serving as Town liaison.

"The Society is coming off of the most successful year ever in terms of attendance and outreach, and has great momentum as we enter another term," museum operations manager Todd Davidson said.
