Prince George to host northern mental health, addictions symposium

The North Central Local Government Association will be hosting a mental health and addictions symposium in Prince George in November.

The North Central Local Government Association represents more than 40 local governments from 100 Mile House to the Yukon border and from Haida Gwaii to the Alberta border.

A symposium aimed at addressing mental health and addictions issues from a north and central B.C. perspective will take place in Prince George on Nov. 13, 14 this year.

The North Central Local Government Association (NCLGA), Lheidli T'enneh First Nation, City of Prince George and the Regional District of Fraser-Fort George will all co-host the symposium. The NCLGA is the advocacy body for local government officials in north central British Columbia.
