BC Wildfire Service says a fire sparked south of Princeton, east of E.C. Manning Provincial Park on Saturday, July 12.

BC Wildfire Service (BCWS) says a 40-hectare blaze has sparked south of Princeton.

The Placer Creek wildfire, discovered on July 12, is suspected to be human-caused, according to BCWS.

It is located south of Princeton and east of E.C. Manning Provincial Park.

There are no current area restrictions near the blaze.
