School District 27 by superintendent Cheryl Lenardon has announced three new appointed positions.
Carol Doherty, who joined the district on Aug. 18, is the district's youth community connections manager.
"Ms. Doherty joins us from Nenqayni Wellness Treatment Centre where she spent the past five years working as a family alcohol and drug counsellor," Lenardon said in a news release. "Ms. Doherty brings with her a comprehensive educational background in crisis intervention, public health and community engagement as well as a passion for youth and education.
