1 dead following 3 vehicle crash on Kelowna's Swamp Road

BC Ambulance transported two people to hospital from the crash

One person is dead following a three-vehicle crash that closed Swamp Road in East Kelowna on Tuesday afternoon (July 8).

According to paramedic public information officer Brian Twaites, three ambulances, an advanced care paramedic responder unit and a paramedic supervisor responded to the 3900 block of Swamp just before 1 p.m.

“Paramedics provided emergency medical treatment to two patients who were transported to hospital, one in stable condition and one in critical condition,” said Twaites.

It's unclear if either of the two people taken to hospital is the person who died.

RCMP are still investigating what led to the crash and Cpl. Allison Konsmo stated that no other updates are available on the incident at this time.
