One sees the protagonist overcome life's obstacles with sharp wit and determination, the other suggests avoiding those obstacles by never growing up.
Rehearsals are underway at Salmon Arm Secondary's theatre for two upcoming productions. The first, a retelling of the J.M. Barrie classic Peter Pan, will be presented by SAS Theatre Company 11/12 students with shows at 6 p.m. on May 27, 29 and 30, and at 1 and 6 p.m. on May 31.
The second production, Charlotte Brontë's Jayne Eyre, will be presented by SAS Drama 11/12 students at 6 p.m. on June 6, 9,10 and 12.
Tickets for both are $15 each and can be purchased at the door or at the Sullivan campus office.
