The Victoria Chamber Orchestra and the Victoria Choral Society will join forces to perform Beethoven’s 9th Symphony on May 3 at the University of Victoria’s Farquhar Auditorium.
The concert, led by conductor Yariv Aloni, marks the 30th anniversary of the orchestra and the 90th of the choral society. Brian Wismath, director of the Victoria Choral Society, prepared the 150-voice choir.
Beethoven’s Ninth will be performed at 7:30 p.m., with tickets available for $38.75 through UVic’s ticket centre.
