Music was on the lunch menu in downtown Salmon Arm Monday with the start of the Tuned-Up concert series leading up to the 32nd ROOTSandBLUES Festival.
The Salmon Armenians kicked off the ROOTSandBLUES concert series, presented by Downtown Salmon Arm, with a well-attended performance at the Ross Street Plaza stage on Monday, July 22.
The Tuned-Up series continued with Mia Kelly playing on Tuesday, July 23, followed by Chicken-Like Birds on the 24th, Krut on the 25th, BuenRostro on the 26th and Munro & Patrick on the 27th, all starting at 11:45 a.m. at the Ross Street Plaza.
BuenRostro will also be playing Wednesday on the Wharf, starting at 6 p.m. at Marine Peace Park.
The official kick-off concert to ROOTSand BLUES takes place on Thursday, July 25, with a 6 p.m. performance at Alexander Street and Hudson Avenue featuring the bands TEKE::TEKE and BCUS, aka Bantu Continua Uhuru Consciousness.
