Musicals focused on Michael Jackson and ABBA are among Broadway Across Canada shows coming to Vancouver's Queen Elizabeth Theatre during the company's 2025-26 season.
The five diverse touring productions are MJ, Moulin Rouge, Les Misérables, Mamma Mia! and Clue.
The season promises "an unforgettable experience with three premier engagements and the return of two beloved classics," the company announced Wednesday (April 30). "Get ready for a year filled with laughter, music and theatrical magic."
Five-show season packages are sold for $305 and up on BroadwayAcrossCanada.ca, after 10 a.m. Thursday, May 1.
Running the final week of November 2025, MJ documents the making of Michael Jackson's 1992 Dangerous world tour.
Up next, in January 2026, is Moulin Rouge, Baz Luhrmann’s revolutionary film come to life onstage.
Another musical set in France, the classic Les Misérables returns to the QE Theatre in the last half of March 2026, followed by the family fun of the ABBA-powered Mamma Mia! (late-May dates) and the game-inspired musical-mystery Clue (July/August 2026).
Broadway Across Canada's current season in Vancouver continues with SIX (May 13-18), Riverdance (June 10-15) and Disney’s The Lion King (Aug. 20 to Sept. 14).
Mid-month, the award-winning SIX sounds interesting, as the wives of King Henry VIII "take the microphone to remix 500 years of historical heartbreak into a euphoric celebration of 21st-century girl power." The six (Catherine of Aragon, Anne Boleyn, Jane Seymour, Anna of Cleves, Katherine Howard, and Catherine Parr) take turns telling their story to determine who suffered the most from their shared husband.
Subscription packages for the 2025-26 season (sold starting May 1) include incentives of guaranteed same-seat locations, payment plans, priority seating access, online upgrades and exchanges, an auto-renewal program and more.
