The 2013 100 Mile Festival of the Arts included vocal, piano, speech arts and instrumental performances and took place at Martin Exeter Hall, April 15-26.

It wrapped up on April 26 with Awards Presentations and the Showcase Performance, featuring some of the top performances from the preceding weeks.

Awards winner this year were:

 

Instrumental Awards

Beginner Solo: Adrienne Gardner; and Layla McPherson.

Junior Solo 1: Courtney Cave.

Junior Solo 2: Emma Donnelly; and Heather Heales.

Intermediate Solo 2: Faniry Ramorasata.

Instrumental Ensemble: Cave; and H. Heales.

Charles Cawdell Memorial Band: Mile 108 Elementary School, Grade 6.

Adjudicator Awards: Donnelly; and 100 Mile House Junior Secondary Band.

Anthony & Helen Lau Bursary: Ashley Ramorasata.

 

Outstanding Achievement: F. Ramorasata.
