Racers will be alpine skiing, Nordic skiing, running, mountain biking, kayaking, road biking, and canoeing through the Comox Valley on April 27 for this year's Snow to Surf race.

The Royal LePage Snow to Surf Adventure Relay is set to make a triumphant return on Sunday, April 27. This iconic multi-sport event, established in 1982, draws athletes from across British Columbia and beyond to the stunning landscapes of the Comox Valley. As of April 17, 118 adult teams and four junior teams have registered, signalling a strong turnout for this year's race.

The relay challenges teams to navigate a diverse course that includes alpine skiing, Nordic skiing, running, mountain biking, kayaking, road biking, and canoeing. Participants will traverse from the snowy peaks of Mount Washington to the coastal waters of Comox Marina, showcasing the region's unique terrain and natural beauty.

Each team comprises up to nine members, with divisions accommodating various age groups and skill levels, including Recreational, Classic, Masters, Grand Masters, and Junior categories. Junior teams that complete the race will receive a full refund of their registration fee, encouraging youth participation in this community-driven event.

The event culminates at the Comox Marina, where the final canoeist rings the finish bell, marking the end of the race. Participants and spectators can then enjoy the Celebration Garden, featuring local food, beverages, and entertainment, fostering a festive atmosphere for all attendees.

Registration remains open until April 25, or until all team spots are filled. Interested participants are encouraged to register promptly to secure their place in this celebrated relay. For more information, including detailed race guides, maps, and registration details, please visit snowtosurf.com
