Keep an eye out for next year’s Mindfulness in May open call, scheduled for February 2025 with the exhibition in May 2025, the release added.

The Rotary club of Qualicum Beach organized its first-ever ‘Pop up Library’ on Family Day (May 26) where both new and gently used books were given out along with book marks featuring work from Mindfulness in May art from past and present exhibitions.

“Although the weather was a bit gray, spirits were not dampened and people were very excited to take home free books,” the release said.

“Donated and sponsored by the Rotary Club on Qualicum Beach, Literacy Central Vancouver Island and the Vancouver Island Regional Library.”
