First responders are set to do their part during Mental Health week in Kelowna.
On Thursday, May 8, members of the Kelowna Fire Department, Kelowma RCMP, BC Emergency Health Services, and by-law officers will be playing in the third annual First Responders Mental Health Games at Stuart Park.
This year marks the first time the games are open to the public, giving people a chance to watch first responders compete in friendly games while celebrating and drawing attention to the importance of mental health.
The games take place from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Mental Health week is from May 5-11 in Kelowna.
