Jeans Day takes place on April 28, and it’s a day when everyone is encouraged to wear their jeans in support of BC Children's Hospital.
In support of BC Children's Hospital Foundation (BCCHF), people are welcome to purchase a button or pin at Save-On-Foods in 100 Mile House and wear their jeans on April 28.
The $5 buttons have remained the same price since the beginning of the campaign, but the BCCHF has added the $20 lapel pin in celebration of Jeans Day 10th anniversary.
Jeans Day started in 1991, BCCHF volunteer Jeff Shultz had an idea for a low-cost fundraiser.
All money collected goes towards the Excellence in Child Health Fund, which supports the critical health needs of the children in British Columbia.
For more information, go to bcchf.ca – they even have a site to show how to recycle your pin or button.
