At the 100 Kids for Change Oceanside group meeting on Aug. 13, the Parksville Museum received the most votes out of three charities nominated by members.
According to spokesperson Janel van Dongen, the group recently presented their donation of $175 to Rachel Filko, manager of the museum.
'100 Kids' meets four times a year (next meeting on Nov. 12), with each member bringing a cash donation to be pooled and donated to a local charity. To learn more about the group, visit www.100kidsoceanside.ca.
