A celebration of Punjabi tradition, fashion, and community is coming to Victoria this Sunday (June 1).
Vehra Shagna Da – Teeyan Special, a lifestyle and fashion exhibition, will be held from noon to 6 p.m. at Ambrosia Banquet & Events (638 Fisgard St.).
The admission-free event will feature more than 20 lifestyle and local fashion vendors, traditional Gidda and Bhangra performances, singing competitions, old-school games, free gifts and door prizes.
Organizers say the event aims to honour Punjabi womanhood and provide an inclusive experience for attendees of all ages.
