Around 50 people attended 100 Mile House's inaugural International Women's Day Celebration on Saturday, March 8.
Held at the 100 Mile House Community Hall the event featured live music, a drumming ceremony, speeches by several community members and food. Organizers hope to make the event an annual celebration.
