Parksville's Tigh-Na-Mara Seaside Spa Resort & Conference Centre has officially introduced the Garden Oasis a serene, open-air sanctuary nestled within the forested grounds of its award-winning Grotto Spa.

Designed to deepen the guest’s connection to nature, this tranquil space extends the spa journey outdoors with plush loungers set beneath the canopy of towering trees, a soothing water feature, native West Coast plantings, and the gentle chorus of birdsongs.

While the Garden Oasis offers a restorative space to pause and breathe deeply, guests also have access to the Grotto Spa’s signature amenities, including cedar-barrel saunas, open-air showers, a mineral pool modeled after a natural rock grotto, an indoor whirlpool, and a cool-splash waterfall creating a seamless blend of elemental therapy and intentional relaxation.

More than a new amenity, it’s an invitation to step outside the spa walls and deeper into the present moment.

"We created the Garden Oasis as a space where guests can feel grounded, unrushed, and fully embraced by the elements," says Paulina Alexander, spa director at Tigh-Na-Mara. "It’s about letting the forest do what it does best slow your thoughts, calm the body, and restore balance in a way no screen or schedule ever could."

The Garden Oasis complements the Grotto Spa’s recent $2.5-million revitalization which elevated its mineral pool, changerooms and interiors with a design language rooted in nature and renewal.

With the addition of the Garden Oasis, Tigh-Na-Mara Resort deepens its commitment to experiential wellness merging West Coast landscape, intentional design, and a rhythm of care that reflects what today’s guests value most: authenticity, presence and restoration.

Located alongside Rathtrevor Beach Provincial Park and the Salish Sea, Tigh-Na-Mara Resort spans 22 acres of oceanfront and forest.
