A new restaurant is set to open this summer at Fairwinds Golf Club in Nanoose Bay.

Greenview Taphouse's offerings will include a "deep bench of local taps", "Roman-style pizzas", Taco Tuesday and lots of Canadian ingredients, according to a news release.

“We didn’t just set out to open a restaurant; we wanted to create a space that acts as a second living room,” said Eli Brennan, co-founder and chief operating officer of Greenview Taphouse, in the release. “Being from the island, it was important to build something for the community, where neighbours, friends, and families come to slow down, raise a glass and stay a while.”

The 250-person space will include a large patio, multiple event areas, a games room and murals of West Coast icons like the Vancouver Steam Clock.

The team at Moments Hospitality Collective includes operating partner Todd Bright, recognizable as Vancouver Island Regional Chef of Qualicum Beach Cafe, Nanoose Bay Cafe and Deez Bar and Grill, as well as marketing and communications manager Kaitlyn Brennan and Nanoose Bay area operations manager, Lynsee Yee.

Moments Hospitality Collective also owns the Water Street Cafe and 2nd Floor Gastown in Vancouver.
